This deep freeze has been steadily running for almost 4 yrs now and no hiccups. The warranty is very good and even has power outage food replacement.

Great size. Had the perfect place in my garage. Did not have to be concerned about change in exterior temperature in the garage affecting my freezer. Spacious inside to organize all my frozen foods from meats to pastries. Keeps everything frozen extremely well.

We purchased this to keep our two dogs frozen food. The size was great to hold many boxes and still be able to keep it organized. We had lost power for a day or so, and the freezer stayed well frozen!

The 7 cubic foot chest freezer was just the right size for our needs. It has been working reliably for about 6 months. As long as it keeps things frozen, I have very few other demands and am quite satisfied.

Perfect for our needs as far as size, keeping foods at correct temp and appearance. Neat, little freezer. It has an issue, however, with frosting around the top where the seal is located on the right and left back corners. The company needs to fix this defect. They replaced the first freezer we bought because of the frosting issue. They may have to replace this one, too. Other than the frosting issue, we love this freezer.

I love the product! This freezer is the perfect size for a large kitchen or garage/basement area. It has double shelves for smaller items a ledge in the bottom and plenty of space to stock up. The freezer is also very sturdy. I would highly recommend.

Chest freezers don™™t ™dump™ out all the heavy cold air when you open the door. Uses only 1.2amps, and rarely runs! And there™™s no external coils that get all dusty and full of lint! They are internal- very clever!

Hand Indents on sides make opening easy. Old freezer would suction when closed and be hard to open. Also wanted baskets which all the freezers did not have.

This small chest freezer is exactly what we were looking for. The fit and finish is above the other cheaper chest freezers we were looking at in person at Home Depot. This one wasn't stocked so we bought online as it was garage ready and able to handle the higher temperatures we get during the summer in California. I was willing to spend the extra money to get something that would last. Based on the fit and finish of this unit, I have no doubts that it will last. It feels like they used similar quality parts from the larger chest freezers on this smaller one. The door hinges feel very solid and have a decent amount of spring assist when opening. I would buy this again and recommend to anyone looking for a higher quality product in the small chest freezer category.
I must admit, I am very critical on products I buy and can usually find flaws easily. But I understand with manufacturing, pure quality sometimes doesn't exist and I move on with my life. But when I find those products that do have quality for an understandable price, that's when I leave reviews.

The dimensions were perfect for my apartment. It seems to hold everything I needed to store. I was very disappointed that it was not an Energy Star Appliance! Not only would it have been more energy efficient, but would have qualified for a rebate from my Electric Company, Consumer's Energy. At the Appliance Dealer where I purchased the freezer, I checked other American made comparable units, and none were Energy Star. This seems short sighted on the part of American Manufacturers. Such a disappointment! On the other hand, The freezer came up to temp quickly, and is easy to pack. I really like the included pair of baskets that slide from side to side. Very convenient to put small items in. So far, it has stayed pretty frost free inside. The freezer seems quite rugged and well made.

I just got this so it™™s too early to review but they are asking me to review so I™™m doing this based on the first impression. Pros is reliable consumer report review on GE chest freezer and this looks pretty solid. Cons are highest energy usage on the similar chest freezers and there is no interior light! This is garage ready freezer so it needs interior lighting.

It is the perfect size for our family. It has a nice feature of hanging baskets to help keep the freezer organized. However, the baskets sit on the upper rim and keep the door from closing tightly and causing a lot of frost to build up inside the freezer.

Ordered this product from Lowes of Newnan Ga. It taken 3 months to come in and lasted 3 months and 2 weeks. Hundreds of dollars in food wasted and Lows would not stand behind this product. Only a 90 day return policy. Customer service said sorry and to bad. U think these freezers use to be built to last for years not months. This is ridiculous, waste of money and time. There is a review on the Lows site as well.

I had a 5 cubic foot freezer in my garage for the past 14 years. Finally started giving up the ghost. The garage is unheated or cooled and we live in south Florida. Temperatures in the garage can get up around 90degrees. The 5 finally started to show signs of warming in the chest. The control was cranked up all the way and couldn't get it belove 10degrees. Decided not to chance losing contents so ordered the 7cubic foot this time. I have it on the fourth setting and everything in is is frozen with temperature being 10 below. I love the GE freezers and the fact that they are garage ready is a really big plus. LOVE IT!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!
